EPOXY FLOOR SYSTEMS

PREPARATION is the key!

Shotblasting the floor!
This procedure will profile (rough-up) and clean your concrete floor all in one step. It is sort of like sand blasting, but we use steel shot (bb's) instead of sand.

Diamond grinding
Will also profile the floor and is a must for crack repair and edging preparation.

DO IT YOURSELF?????

Why not do this myself? Homeowner grade epoxy products do not hold up, typically they last only 1-2 years in garages. A common complaint is that the surface lifts where the car sits and comes off on the tires often in the first winter. Most homeowners do not have the proper equipment and cannot adequately prepare the floor. Acid etching is helpful but still cannot adequately prepare the floor for the epoxy.
