DAY 2: Floor Installation Process Begins

  • We apply a penetrating Epoxy basecoat which will self-level to help fill in low areas.
  • Next, we do a chip broadcast of our small 1/8-inch chips. The smaller chips give a rich even finish to simulate the look of granite.

DAY 3: Floor Installation Finalized

  • After the epoxy has fully cured overnight, we will remove the excess chips and thoroughly scrape the floor surface.
  • Next, we apply the clear sealer coat of Polyaspartic (fast drying urethane) which bonds well to the dry chips and is UV stable.
  • A second clear finish coat of our chemical resistant urethane will provide additional protection from harsh chemicals and surface wear.
  • We also incorporate a slip resistant media (Aluminum Oxide) into the urethane clear coat, for your safety.
